Electrocardiogram & Phlebotomy Technician
What is Electrocardiography?
An electrocardiogram, or ECG, is just one of the critical care tests that can save many lives each year. ECG Technicians may be the first to spot problems of the heart that might prove to be fatal if not detected through other methods. Electrocardiogram testing is a non-invasive procedure that gives the physician a clearer view of the heart in order to detect abnormalities or irregularities within the chambers, arteries, and ventricles.
What is Phlebotomy?
The main objective of a phlebotomist is to draw blood and obtain specimens promptly, efficiently, and safely from patients and clients. Conducting routine and diagnostic testing can be the most accurate way to assess, track, and repair illnesses and diseases. The phlebotomist plays an important role in the safety and well-being of their patients, phlebotomy technicians receive extensive training in the handling of infectious diseases and maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
