Personal Support Worker - NACC ACCREDITED
If you are a foreign trained Nurse, Health Care Aide or a graduate of the Live-In Caregiver Program you may qualify for our Fast Track Bridging PSW Diploma Program.
Schedule:
Theoretical component would be completed through Home Studies. After the completion of each module students are required to write an exam in school.
Mandatory In-School Examinations may be written on the following days
Monday – Saturday 9:30am – 3:00pm
365 hours of Clinical Placement within a Home for the Aged, Nursing Home, or Hospital setting is required in order to earn your Personal Support Worker diploma. For those who are currently employed in the nursing field you may be exempted from these hours.
Duration: Approximately 8-48 weeks
The NACC Certification Exam will be written upon successful completion of the theoretical and practical component of the program.
