The Fast Track (Advanced Standing) Physiotherapy Assistant program is offered on a combination of Correspondence and In-School basis with flexible exam and practical schedules to better accommodate your busy lifestyle!
Your exams can be written any day in-school from Monday-Saturday between 9:00am-2:00pm!
The average duration of the Fast Track Physiotherapy Assistant program is very dependant on each student and their prior learning assessment. Duration can range from anywhere between 12-28 weeks.
The theoretical of each module is completed at home, and once you feel prepared and confident to write the module exam, you will schedule an appointment with your instructor to come in!
After sitting for the first four exams, you will then be required to come in for a minimum of 3 Instructor led sessions prior to the practical examination and the final written examination.
The way it works is simple! When you first come into the school for information and a tour, we will assess your documents on the spot. The Senior Academic Advisor along with your program Instructor will then begin designing a program that is specifically tailored to you! You will know which modules you will have to attend in-school and which modules you can do all at home!
On the day of registration you will be provided with all the required study materials, along with the telephone numbers and email addresses of your Instructors so you have continual contact with them! If you have questions or concerns while studying at home, it’s as easy as calling or emailing and you will receive a response almost immediately.
We cover all the basic areas:
Development and function of the human body, Rehabilitation Techniques, Charting, Principles and Proper use of all the commonly used modalities, and much more!
Robetech Institute offers students the opportunity to train in our fully equipped rehabilitation centre. Although it is not mandatory, if you wish to complete any off-site Clinical Placement, we can provide this service to you for an additional fee!
