CSMLS/OSMT Exam Review Program
Non-Robetech Graduates are now welcome to register for the online Canadian Certification Exam Review (“CCER”). This includes an amazing study manual providing study tips and guides to help you prepare for the actual exam, as well as over 800 multiple choice questions and answers to help you further enhance your exam-writing skills!
Students have complete online access to 10 mock exams that are timed accordingly and corrected as you answer each question. They are graded and designed to cover each specific discipline, and our faculty and staff will monitor your results with you to ensure the proper progress and to assist you if additional training or review is necessary.
Our online review offers you the convenience and accessibility to register for the program, write your exams, and review your manual at any time, with no scheduled dates or traveling to and from the college required. The application process is simple, and within 24-48 hours after registering you will have access to the review program.
TUITION FEES FOR NON-ROBETECH GRADUATES: $600.00 (All Inclusive)
There are no fees for recent Robetech students or graduates, although if you are a Robetech graduate of over 3 years from the date of signing the CCER contract, there is a fee of $300.00.

Refresher Course for Re-write Applicants
Applies to those who have been informed by OSMT to complete a “Refresher Course”
This program is designed to provide the student with further training in both the theoretical of laboratory technology and the practical diagnostics procedures and techniques in order to confidently re-write the OSMT MLA/T Certification Exam. The program is offered on a flexible schedule; full-time, part-time and/or correspondence and can be completed within approximately 6-12 weeks. The Refresher Program covers all of the various departments of the laboratory/clinical setting: Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, Urinalysis, Phlebotomy and ECG. For those taking the course on a Full Time or Part Time In-School basis, you will be provided hands-on practice in our laboratory as well as performing ECG and Phlebotomy. Tuition includes all study material, textbooks, hand-outs, and lab fees.
Correspondence Student Details:
Students completing the program on a correspondence basis will receive all of the same study materials and text books. You will be required to provide an evaluation of your practical skills by your employer, and for those currently not working within a clinical setting you may be required to complete your practical at Robetech Institute.
Pre-Requisite: Graduate of a MLA/T diploma program accredited by OSMT.
It is assumed that graduates of an MLA/T program have the basic knowledge and skills of a medical laboratory assistant/technician as this is a comprehensive refresher program, not a MLA/T diploma course. The instructor may advise the student to attend one or more modules to ensure their success in the program.
A "Certification of Completion" will be issued upon completion. Tuition Fees: $3,400.00
Please Note: The tuition includes all text books, study materials, laboratory fees, and the CCER Program.
Exam Re-write Policy
All exams can only be written once; please ensure you are fully prepared to sit for the duration of each exam. Incomplete exams or exams that are timed out will be graded as completed. Exam re-writes will incur a charge of $25 per exam.
