Robetech offers certificate courses for those in the health field looking at upgrading their current academic skills in certain areas for professional development.
Advanced Phlebotomy Workshop
The Advanced Phlebotomy provides theory and practical training in routine adult and pediatric blood collection. Students will also review use of butterfly needle, capillary punctures and other difficult collections. The theory component of the workshop includes discussions in anatomy, equipment, supplies and procedure of blood collection. The practical conducted in the two days include training on both simulator and live patients. The course includes a booklet, quiz and checklist, plus a certificate of successful completion.
